Transfering Your Domain With Register.com

Here is a simplified process with screen shots of what you need to do to get your Register.com domain pointing to our servers.

1. Visit the Register.com Website at http://www.register.com. Once the site loads, you will see a link on the top left that says ' Manage My Account' as seen in the image below. Click this link and you will be brought to a login screen where you can enter your domain/username/password for your register.com account.

2. After you have successfully logged in to your account, you will seen a scree similar to the one below. The link that you will need to click is the one highlighted in blue below. 'Domain Name Servers (DNS)'. Click this link and move to the next step.

3. In the next step, you will need to actually input our nameservers. Most likely, the first two blanks will have someone elses nameservers ( probably DNS#.REGISTER.COM ) If that is the case, check the delete box that is next to all nameservers that are not our nameservers. Then, after you have selected 'delete' next to the initial nameservers, enter our nameservers in the two boxes below them. ( NOT THE ONES THAT HAVE A DELETE BOX ). Our nameservers are shown below. Once you have selected 'delete' for the old nameservers and entered our new nameservers, select your email address from the list below and click the 'Yes' button.

4. Finally, after you have clicked the 'yes' button shown in the image above, you will be brought to a confirmation screen where you should confirm your changes. After confirming these changes, register.com will generate an email and it will be sent to the email address you selected in the last step. This email is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT for the transfer to be completed. Please retrieve the email from your mailbox as soon as possible and follow its instructions.

Make sure you read through the email and follow each direction carefully. Once you have confirmed that the changes reflect those mentioned above, send the email back, as stated in the email.

After you have completed all of the above, Register.com will send you a confirmation of your changes and your domain will officially be pointed at our servers! Remember, if you have any questions regarding this, please email us at support@interweave.net and we will help you out. They will only accept modification requets from you, the owner of the domain, not us - we can not modify your domain name.
