Transfering Your Domain With Network Solutions

Here is a simplified process with screen shots of what you need to do to get your Network Solutions domain pointing to our servers.

1. Visit the Network Solutions Website at http://www.networksolutions.com. From there you will see a link that says 'Make Changes' ( highlighted in RED below ). Click this link and it will bring you to a page where you can select the transfer form from.

2. If you look at the bottom right hand corner of the screen, you will see a link that says 'Go To Forms'. Click this link and move to the next step.

3. Next, select the 'Service Agreement' Link on the page below.

4. The next step is fairly self-explanitory. Just enter your Admin Contact Email address in the 'Your Email Address' field and enter your domain in the 'Domain Name' field. Then select Modify Existing Domain Name Registration and click 'Proceed'.

5. On the next page, you will see a fairly lengthy form. If you scroll down to the section called 'Name Server Information', You will see the section in the screen shot below. Make sure you change the information to reflect exactly what you see below. The information below is our nameserver information that will point your domain to our servers.

After you have made those changes, scroll down a little further ( But not all the way! ) and you will see a button that says 'SUBMIT THIS FORM FOR PROCESSING'. Click this button one time and the changes will be sent for processing.

6. After you have submitted this form, an email will be generated and sent to the Admin contact for the domain name you have submitted changes for. The next step is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT! If you do not follow the instructions in the email, no changes will be made. The email states that :

This is the Domain Name Registration Agreement you recently created. In order to complete this modification, YOU MUST E-MAIL THIS FORM TO: hostmaster@networksolutions.com

After you e-mail this form, you should receive an auto-reply with a tracking number. You must use that number in the Subject of any future messages you send regarding this registration action. Once this registration action is completed you will receive a notification via e-mail.

Make sure you read through the email and follow each direction carefully. Once you have confirmed that the changes reflect those mentioned above, send the email back, as stated in the email.

After you have completed all of the above, Network Solutions will send you a confirmation of your changes and your domain will officially be pointed at our servers! Remember, if you have any questions regarding this, please email us at support@interweave.net and we will help you out. They will only accept modification requets from you, the owner of the domain, not us - we can not modify your domain name.
